try to interview the victim.

Q. Did you ever be

em if a patent told me that "it?s okay, you can
talk to my daughter or son, I don?t need to," they
basically waive that, then I would talk to the
children. I preferred that.

Q. Did you ever investigate any member coaches
from USAG wherein you felt the necessity to report
your findings to local authorities?

A. I probably felt that, but I would leave'that
up to USA Gymnastics. I would not independently refer
a caae to law enforcement.

Q. Do you know or are you aware of the state
reporting laws in regard to the reporting of alleged
sexual misconduct of children or minors?

A. I know that there are reporting laws. I
really am not familiar with them.

Q. When you spoke to the victim or the victim?s
parents if they were a minor, did you ever tell them

to report it to local authorities?
