The project is located in the Carolyn Lahey Pavilion on the Butter?eld Hospital Property, Paulding Avenue, Cold Spring, NY. This renovation shall include but not be limited to the following: Conversion of existing medical of?ces and professional of?ce space to administrative emcee, a commercial/educational kitchen, a dining area and recreational space All required mechanical work for proper heating, ventilation and air conditioning of the space All required electrical work needed for the proper Operation of the space All required plumbing work needed for the proper operation of the space As a result, the Cold Spring Senior Center will: Establish sharing Services between Village, Town, County, State and Federal Government. Local government ef?ciency grants and shared services will prove to foster cooperation between Village, County and Town. Provide an esthetic improvement at ?Getaway to the Village." The improvement to the dilapidated 5.7 acre site has longed plagued the Village. Paulding Avenue and Chestnut Street have some of the most beautiful and historic homes and is impeded by a property that desperately needs to be improved. This will not only look better, but will increase property values. Provide County services to an underserved and rapidly expanding senior community. The time has come where we bridge the gap between east and west in Putnam County. The Town of Philipstown deserves its fair share of County services. The overall project at Butter?eld will: increase economic development opporttmities assist in bolstering the Cold Spring Main Street Economy will create jobs - will share government services 0 will conveniently provide government services to Western Putnam County Through public private partnerships and inter-municipal cooperation engage in a much needed senior facility for western Putnam County.
