USA Gymnastics is in receipt ofyonr letter dated Augu st 5, 2016.

USA Gymnastics takes allegations of sexual misconduct very seriously and has
worked extensiver to promote a safe environment For its athletes; USA Gymnastics
has been proactive in helping to educate the gymnastics community over the years,
and will continue to take every punitive action available within our jurisdiction and
cooperate foliy moth iew enforcement

The organization has continually reviewed its best practices on how it addresses

these issues and has been among the first to initiate new policies and procedures
including publishing a list of banned coaches and instituting national background
Chocks.

We remain committed to this e?ort and have been working with the US.
Olympic Committee to help keep athletes safe in ail opens.

Following the conclusion of the Ulympic Games we will work with you to address

your questions and concerns.
