The law is clear that the Village Board has the authority to audit all expenditures and to order payments. On Tuesday April 12, the Village Board audited the invoice submitted to the Village by Mr. Weissmann for the month of March and adjusted the invoice and by a resolution of the Village Board Section 2. directed you to make 3 $7,375.00 payment, the mayor, you and Miss. Daleneourt has no authority to question or request additional documentations from Mr. Weissmann after the Village Board has acted on this. 3 To continue to hold payment to Mr. Weissmann after the Village Board has directed you to make payment, is a violation of the resolution of the Village Board and you will be responsible for any litigation fees and interest if this item become part of a law suit.
