In order to best protect your business and the community as a whole the Houston Fire
Department will be conducting an inspection and site visit of your establishment. This
inspection will serve the purpose of risk assessment and pre-fire planning.
The first responders from the station in the area of your business will be conducting the
site visits. It is important for the personnel that will respond to your business if an
emergency occurs to be familiar with the layout and contents of your property.
It is not our intention to cause you any inconvenience or disruption in business. These
visits will take place during business hours. For your convenience we can contact you
prior to the visit if you will send your telephone and email contact information to Denise
