This is to in response to your Freedom oiintormation Act/Privacy Act request dated September 3, 2015,
and received in this Office on September 4, 2015, penaining to cell--site simulators, rriggwfith, ham': corporation
and stingray. This response is made on behalf of the Executive Ollice for the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement
Task Forces (OGDETF),

 

Please be advised that a search has been conducted in the Executive Office tor OCDE and 119 documents,
totaling 122 pages, have been located that may be responsive to your request. Aficr carefully reviewing these
records, we have determined that these documents are to be withheld in iull pursuant to Exemption 5 oitlte FOIA, 
which pertains to information tlte release of which would conslitute a clearly unwarranted
invasion of the personal privacy of third parties; 7(a) oi the FOIA, 5 u.s.c. ?552(b)(7xa), which
pertains to records or inionnation compiled tor law enforcement purposes, the release of which could reasonably be
expected to interfere with law enforcement proceedings; Exemption 7(c) of the FOIA, 5 USC. 
which pertains to records or int'onnation compiled for law enforcement purposes, the release of which could
reasonably be expected to constimte an unwarranted invasion of tire personal privacy of third parties; Exemption
7(d) of the FOIA, U, c. 552(bx7)(d), which pertains to records or inionnation compiled for law enforcement
purposes, the release of which would disclose the identities of confidential sources; and Exemption 7(9) or the
FOIA, 5 USC. which pertains to records or information compiled ior law enforcement purposes, the
release nfwhich would disclose certain teelutiques or procedures for law enforcement investigations or prosecutions.

Please note that a search has been conducted of records contained in the OCDETF Management information
System The records maintained by this onice typically contain non-public law enforcement sensitive investigative
information that is protected disclosure.
