AN ORDINANCE TO ENACT CERTAIN REGULATIONS

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to the City Charter and Chapter 37 of the City
Code, the Department of Public Works has proposed and the City Council deems it
necessary and proper to enact the traffic and parking regulations set forth herein.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WILMINGTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the following street be designated as a traf?c
street:
East 3rd Street, between North Lombard Street and Poplar Street.

SECTION 2. That signs be installed at the following

locations:
a. On East 25th Street intersecting Carter Street.
b. On West 34?n Street intersecting North Van Buren Street.
c. On North Monroe Street intersecting West 35th Street.

SECTION 3. That TURN ON signs be installed at the following

locations:
a. On southbound King Street intersecting West 2nd Street
b. On southbound King Street intersecting East l0th Street
C. On eastbound East 10th Street intersecting King Street

SECTION 4. That PARKING THIS signs be installed along the

westside of North Ford Avenue between West 4lb Street to West 5th Street.

SECTION 5. That PARKING CHILD DROP OFF AND PICK UP 7:00
A.M. TO 9:00 A.M., Except Saturdays and Sundays? signs be installed on the
westside of South Connell Street beginning 45 feet from the northerly building line of
Elm Street and extending 20 feet north.

SECTION 6. That PARKING CHILD DROP OFF AND PICK UP 4:00
P.M. TO 5:30 P.M., Except Saturdays and Sundays? signs be installed on the westside
of South Connell Street beginning 45 feet from the northerly building line of Elm Street
and extending 20 feet north.

SECTION 7. That PARKING CHILD DROP OFF UP 7:00
A.M. TO 6:00 P.M., Except Saturdays and Sundays? signs be installed on the
westside of South Lincoln Street beginning 40 feet south of the southerly building line of
Tulip Street and extending south 45 feet.

northside of East 12th Street beginning 20 east of the easterly building line of North King
Street and extending east 161 feet.

P.M. TO 3:30 P.M., Except Saturdays and Sundays? signs be installed on the
northside of East 12th Street beginning 20 east of the easterly building line of North King

SECTION 10. That PARKING STREET CLEANING 11:00 A.M. TO

SECTION 12 That the portions of legislation that designates the following be
hereby RESCINDED:
a. Removal of the designation of East 3rd Street between North

Clayton Street.
h. Removal of PARKING STREET signs on the
southside of West 9th Street between North Rodney Street and North
Broom Street.
SECTION 13. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its date
of passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
