In accordance with Section 4.3 of the EMS Agreement Third Amendment, this will result in the following financial penalties for non?compliance: Emergency Response Category Zone 3: 87.8% $50,000 Zone 4: 88.8% $50,000 Zone 5: 89.6% $20,000 Zone 6: 85.6% $50,000 Zone 8: 87.8% $50,000 Outlier Responses $71,000 Total Penalties $291,000 An invoice for the financial penalties is attached and payment is due on November 16, 2016. Additionally, in accordance with Section 4.3 of the EMS Agreement Third Amendment, the City requests that Rural/Metro submit a written Plan to Cure addressed to me by October 17, 2016. Please detail the reasons for non?compliance and the steps being taken to correct the problems as well as timelines for corrective measures. The City will continue to monitor ambulance response times and efforts taken by Rural/Metro (AMR) to meet compliance throughout this next quarter.
