As soon as We become owner we dismantle the radiator by looping the hot water that feeding the radiator which according to NYC building Department since it is not a gas pipe and its only heat we don't need any permit. On 1/le2016 alter inspection was. done with inspector. Banter from has issued as violation repair the broken or defective baseboard radiator at public hall, stor . A?erywe research the violation with our counsel we couldn't ?nd any Law that landlord have to give the heat to the public area and alter taking on the phone and meeting with Mr. Simon at ?fill Euclid Ave and another inspector with him at the time .They said we never issue a violation for heat on hallway . We remove the radiator from hallway and submit a certi?cation of violation and after inspection was done on 2/26f2iJl6 by HPD ,the website shows not comply and then i called Mr. Baxter and he ask me to Write this letter and seek your help to resolve this issue. i like to mention that heat was never working since 2010 which was before the tenants move in {precondition} and nobody were even paying attention to it because we have double door entrance to the building and on very cold day the temperatUre does not go under 55 degree and these issue just came up because we have very unsatisfied tenant who trying her best to take advantage of the system in New York City. 1 have submitted this letter on to the office at? the Brooklyn HPD to attention ofehiet' Mr. Frank Richard and shortly after he was retired and alter keep calling HPD to get respond Mr. Coudy ask me to send you this letter .
