SCALISE LEADERSHIP FUND The JFC is a joint fundraising committee composed of Scalise for Congress (“Campaign”), Eye of the Tiger PAC (“PAC”), and the NRCC (each, a “Committee,” and, collectively, the “Committees”). Any contribution to the JFC permissible under the Federal Election Campaign Act, as amended (“FECA”), 52 U.S.C. §§ 30101 et seq., from contributors who have not exceeded their applicable Federal contribution limits, shall be allocated among the Committees pursuant to FECA and the formula set forth in this Notice. Contributions Made by an Individual or Federal Non-Multicandidate Political Committee: The maximum possibly yearly contribution that an individual or federal non-multicandidate political committee may make to the JFC is $244,200. Contributions to the JFC from individual or federal non-multicandidate political committees shall be disbursed as follows: a. From the first $5,400, Campaign shall receive, for deposit in its general account, any contribution to the JFC, with a maximum of $2,700 designated for the primary election and a maximum $2,700 designated for the general election. b. From the next $5,000, PAC shall receive, for deposit in its general account, any contribution to the JFC not exceeding $5,000 per calendar year. c. From the next $33,400, the NRCC General Account shall receive any contribution to the JFC not exceeding $33,400 per calendar year. d. From the next $100,200, the NRCC Building Fund shall receive any contribution to the JFC not exceeding $100,200 per calendar year. e. From the next $100,200, the NRCC Legal Proceedings Fund shall receive any contribution to the JFC not exceeding $100,200 per calendar year. Contributions Made by a Federal Multicandidate Political Committee: The maximum possible yearly contribution that a federal multicandidate political committee may make to the JFC is $120,200. Contributions to the JFC from federal multicandidate political committees shall be disbursed as follows: a. From the first $10,000, Campaign shall receive, for deposit in its general account, any contribution to the JFC, with a maximum of $5,000 designated for the primary election and a maximum of $5,000 designated for the general election. b. From the next $5,000, PAC shall receive, for deposit in its general account, any contribution to the JFC not exceeding $5,000 per calendar year. c. From the next $15,000, the NRCC General Account shall receive any contribution to the JFC not exceeding $15,000 per calendar year. d. From the next $45,000, the NRCC Building Fund shall receive any contribution to the JFC not exceeding $45,000 per calendar year. e. From the next $45,000, the NRCC Legal Proceedings Fund shall receive any contribution to the JFC not exceeding $45,000 per calendar year. The contributor’s signature below shall serve as written designation of his or her contribution to the particular elections described above. All contributions permissible under FECA, but which would cause a contributor to exceed any applicable Federal contribution limit to a specific Committee, shall be reallocated to the remaining Committees according to this allocation formula to the extent permitted by FECA. Any contribution that would otherwise cause a contributor to exceed any applicable Federal contribution limit or that is otherwise impermissible under FECA shall be refunded to the contributor. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution to specific participating Committee, to the extent permissible by FECA. Any contributor may make his or her contribution payable directly to any of the participating Committee(s) listed in the Preamble to this Notice. Any such designated contribution that causes the contributor to exceed the contribution limit to the designated Committee shall not be reallocated by the JFC absent the prior written permission of the contributor as required by law. Contributions to the JFC, or any of the participating committees individually, are not deductible as charitable donations for Federal income tax purposes. All funds received in response to this solicitation will be subject to federal contribution limits and prohibitions. Contributions from corporations, labor union, foreign nationals without “green cards,” and federal government contractors are prohibited. No contributions to the NRCC Building Fund or the NRCC Legal Proceedings Fund will be used to influence any federal election.
