RE: RECEIPT OF $27,381.35 - PAYMENT FOR QUESTIONED EXPENDITURES
RELATED TO PORTER RANCH NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL FUNDS

Dear Mr Najm

On December 1, 2016, our Office received $16,791.17 in the form of a cashier's check from Mr,
Sean O'Roarke, In response to questionable expenditures Irom the Porter Ranch Neighborhood
Council account. Mr. O'Roarke was notified on December 8, 2016, that the monies received did
not represent the entire amount in question, and the remaining balance of $10,563.01 was 
due.

On January 4, 2017, our Office received an additional payment lrorn Mr. O'Rcarke in the
amount of $10,590.18 which exceeds the total amount due. $27.17 will be returned to
Mr. O'Roarke.

Monies received from Mr, O'Roarke have been deposited back into the Neighborhood Council
Trust Fund. The Office of the City Clerk is continuing to review the circumstances surrounding
this matter,
