Blankenship, Executive Director West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association PO Box 3231 Charleston, WV 25332 RE: Response to Comment Class II General Permit G3 5-D Dear Ms. Blankenship: During the week of December 20, 2016, pursuant to ?45-13?8, the Division of Air Quality (DAQ) provided notice to the public of a preliminary determination to issue Class II General Permit G3 5-D for natural gas compressor and/or dehydration facilities. The 30 day public comment period ended on January 23, 2017. On January 23, 2017, the DAQ received a letter from you expressing your concerns about permit condition 3.2.8. Upon review of your comments, it is the opinion of the DAQ, that West Virginia Code, Chapter 22 Article 5 does not require this permit condition. Therefore, permit condition 3.2.8 has been removed from the Class II General Permit General Permit G3 5-D was issued on January 27, 2017.
