RE: New Operator for Gentilly Terrace Elementary School FAME, Inc.



Dear Dr. Lewis:

The Gentilly Terrace Gardens Improvement Association desires a high~qua ity public elementary
school located within the neighborhood it represents. As such, we would appreciate being afforded
meaningful input into the selection process through which a new operator is selected to administer
Gentilly Terrace Elementary School. Additionally, in light of recent news stories reporting that charter
management organization FAME, Inc., the operator of Audubon Charter School, is seeking to establish
another school in Orleans Parish, we wish to make clear that we would view as favorable an outcome
whereby FAME establishes its new school at the soon-to?be-vacated Gentilly Terrace Elementary School
facility.
