Governor Hickenlooper,

We are writing you today to express our disappointment with the Colorado Department of Public
Health and Environment. There is no excuse for the state government to be 6,000 licenses behind
in processing medical marijuana cards, causing patients to wait 6-8 weeks for their medicine.
Without medical marijuana cards our Colorado patients are unable to get the medicine they need.
patients, cancer patients, children with epilepsy and many others have been
adversely effected by the department?s negleetful disregard for patients. We urge you to get
personally involved to correct this injustice.
