Dear Secretary Lepore:

I am writing to formally request the transfer of $300,000 from reserve account 1599-0840 to the
Cannabis Control Commission?s administrative line item 0610-0040.

This funding is critical to the continued and timely implementation of Question 4, now Chapter
334 of the Acts of 2016. Without sufficient resources, I am concerned that the Commonwealth

may not be able to meet the various extended deadlines required by Chapter 351 of the Acts of
2016.
