Wight Noize is a Platform One initiative aimed at supporting young bands and
solo artists resident on the Island. The Wight Noize Auditions are a
professional showcase (not a 'Battle of the Bands') and allow performers to
receive constructive feedback from an experienced panel selected from the
music industry. One act will be selected to perform on the main stage on
Sunday at the Isle of Wight Festival 2017.

All acts must submit weblinks to three original audio recordings – please check that links work.

Selected acts must be able to perform a minimum of a 30 minute set of original songs.

All acts must be able to demonstrate that they actively promote themselves online.

4

Musicians may only register and perform in one act.

5

All musicians must be resident on the Isle of Wight (proof of residence may be asked for).

All musicians must be aged 16 to 24 years old (proof of date of birth may be asked for).

Platform One will supply the PA, back line amplifiers and drum kit for the Wight Noize showcase.

8

All band members must be available to play Isle of Wight Festival – no substitutions or additional band
members will be allowed.

Final closing date for registrations is Friday 28 April 2017 by 5.00pm. Late registrations will not be
accepted.
