On May 14, 2009 at approximately 1500 hours, I Detective Amada, along with other Detectives of the
Kissimmee Police Department Tactical Investigative Unit conducted an undercover narcotics operation at
623 Jacaranda Lane. For this operation I was acting in an undercover capacity as a drug purchaser.
I made contact with Nancy Ortiz in the driveway of 623 Jacaranda Lane. Nancy was next to a silver
Dodge Caravan bearing Florida tag X779VX. Nancy gave me two bottles of pills. Nancy stated they
were the same as the pills she gave me the last time we conducted a transaction which was on April 17,
2009. Nancy asked for $300.00 in exchange for the pills. Nancy stated that the price went up because
some one else wanted to purchase the pills for $300.00. I then left the area.
Nancy was then arrested by the other Detectives of the Kissimmee Police Department T AC Unit. Nancy
was then transported to the Kissimmee Police Department.
I returned to the Kissimmee Police Department where I weighed the pills I bought from Nancy. The total
pills were 61.8 grams. I entered the pills along with the recordings into evidence at the Kissimmee Police
Department. I contacted poison control and gave them the pill identifier number they identified the pills
as Hydrocodone.
In Conclusion Nancy Ortiz violated FSS 893.135(1c1) (c) Trafficking in Hydrocodone of28 grams or
more. Nancy also violated FSS 893.147(2) Sale and Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia. Nancy violated FSS
893.14 7(4) Transportation of Drug Paraphernalia. Nancy also violated FSS 893.1351 (2) by being in
Possession of her vehicle with the knowledge that the vehicle will be used in the commission of a
trafficking deal. Nancy was placed in custody and transported to the Osceola County Jail.
This report will be forwarded to the SAO.
