Mr. Carol a reporter from The Aspen Times appeared. Appl stated that a settlement meeting was held on 3/21/17 and that all ops attended, except for the United States. At the meeting, appl agreed to provide additional information about the reports necessary to support the claimed diligence on the water rights. Appl provided this information to ops on 5/1/17. Appl received feedback from several ops and settlement concept from op Larsen Family. The parties and the Court discussed whether the cases could remain on the Referee’s docket and setting deadlines to keep the cases moving forward. Op Larsen Family requested that the cases remain on the Referee’s docket for 30 days. All other ops and the appl requested 90 days. The Court finds that a 90 day time period is appropriate and orders the deadlines described below. Atty Corona noted a Page 1 of 2 concern about not discussing the 90 day period with his client. The Court finds that op Larsen Family has not waived its right to re-refer Case No. 16CW3128 during the 90 day period. All other ops and the appl agreed to waive their right to re-refer the cases during the 90 day period.
