Saturday LOCATION: 5962 Rolling Hills Ln. Belleville IL ZIP CODE: 62223 - ZONE: 68-16 SUSPECT: James Tg?liodgkinson 12-12-50 Suzanne Hodgkinson 12-08-52 OTHER PARTICIPANTS: . DEPUTY: Matthew Dobler COMPLAINT 172364 On 04?01-06 I Deputy Dobler responded to 5964 Rolling Hills Ln. for a possible Domestic Battery. While en-route the dispatcher advised me shots were being ?red from the residence. Prior to my arrival the dispatch told me the weapon had been put away inside the residence of 5941 Rolling Hills Ln. When I arrived, Joel M. Femandez'W/M 06-07-86 istated the male resident at 5941 Rolling Hills Ln., who was later identi?ed as James Hodgkinson punched his girlfriend in the face with a closed ?st. Fernandez went to 5941 to speak with him about the battery. When Fernandez reached the outside porch area Hodgkinson walked outside with a shotgun and aimed it at Fernandez face. Fernandez attempted to get away from the? shotgun and was struck in the le? side of his head with the wooden stock by Hodgkinson. After Fernandez was struck he started running back to 5962 when the male subject shot one round. It was unknown at the time of this report if the subject ?red the round at Fernandez or in the air. When Fernandez ?nished telling his side of the storyI spoke with his girl?-iend Aimee M. Moreland 07?30-86. Moreland stated while inside the residence at 962 with her friend male subject from 5 941 who was identi?ed as James T. Hodgkinson 12-12-50 .father? forced the front door open and came inside. Once inside the residence James started screaming for was in an up stairs bedroom and came doWn to see what her father wanted. James told, to get your stuff its time to come home. told, James she wanted to stay at the residence until her friend came home. I then went up stair?s into a bedroom and locked the door. James followed to the bedroom and started cursing and asking where she was. James forced the bedroom door open and tolc? A :0 get up. was trying to hide next to the bed on the ?oor. Once again stated ?No? and James became violent. James grabbed by the hair and pulled her off the floor. After _r was off the ?oor she attempted to run away. James would not release his grip and threw to the ?oor. friend Aimee heard screaming and went up stairs. Aimee observed James throwing around the bedroom area. was able to get away from James and ran into an adjacent bedroom and went on tap of the bed. James followed and started hitting her arms, pulling hair and started grabbing her off the bed. once again broke free and both and?Aimee ran out of the residence. Aimee had her 2000 Green Honda Civic with Illinois Registration 9934462 parked outside. Aimee and entered the vehicle and attempted to leave. James came to the vehicle and opened the passenger?s door where was seated. Aimee attempted to back out of the driveway but couldn?t because James had the door open. A?er James could not get out he reached inside the door and turned off the ignition. James then pulled out a possible pocket knife and cut seatbelt. After the seat belt was out, i mother Suzanne M. Hodgkinson came to the vehicle. Suzanne started ?ghting with striking her in the arms and pulling hair in attempt to get her out of the vehicle. Suzanne had no success getting out of the vehicle by striking her so she grabbed 3 legs to drag her out. Aimee helc 5 arms to keep her inside the vehicle. Suzanne ?nally gave up and told ?I?ll just call the police and put you back into foster care.? believed at that time Suzanne walked away but was not sure because James started grabbing her once again. James was choking while she was holding onto the steering wheel of the vehicle. During the struggle had her Blue Belleville West sweat shirt ripped. Aimee told James she was going to call the police. James became upset and punched Aimee in the face with a closed ?st. A?er the punch James left the area and went to his residence across the street. I observed red marks on i right arm and left side of her neck. I further observed hair which were pulled out on the rippedlsweat shirt. I did not observe marks on Aimee or Joel. After gathering the above; information I waited for Deputy?s Quirin and Pirtle to arrive. Once Quirin and Pirtle arrive? we made contact with James at his residence. I recovered an Ithaca model 300, 12-gauge with serial number 87112390 from the kitchen leaning on the north wall for evidence. James was taken into custody with handcuffs in ?'ont because of a shoulder problem. During the ?'isk I recovered and secured a small pocket knife which was placed into evidence. Deputy Quirin took Suzanne into custody and secured her in the rear of his unit. A ?red 12 gauge shot gun casing was feund near the front porch of the residence in the yard which I took for evidence.
