Mr. Gary Vandegriff was employed with INDOT Seymour District as the Highway Maintenance Director
(HMD) between 09/09/2010 and 06/26/2014. As HMD, Gary’s responsibilities were to oversee the management
of Highway Maintenance and Operations to ensure that proper and efficient management practices were
followed along with establishing a strategic operating plan that incorporated technological and regulatory
changes along with identifying short and long term goals that are consistent with the District goals and the
mission of the Operations department. At the end of Mr. Vandegriff’s employment his ending salary was
$84,048.12 annually.
