Last year, Maine made significant progress in
developing energy policies that helped—not hurt—
all energy customers.  Now, the Maine legislature is
considering throwing out the progress we’ve made
and rever=ng to draconian net-metering policies that
will leave tradi=onal energy customers to pick up the
tab for private solar customers.  We must tell our
legislators to vote “no” on LD 1504 to ensure all
Maine energy customers are treated fairly.

"An Act Regarding Solar Power for Farms and Businesses"
(LD 1504).
Last year, the Maine Public Utilities Commission took a
step in the right direction in ensuring solar can flourish as
