The polygraph test was for the Chief of Staff position at the King County Sheriffs Of?ce. Earrings:- arrived on time and stated he was nervous but rested and ready to take the potygraph. Barringer claimed to be hungry but made no comptaint of pain or discomfort- During the pre-test interview, Barringer made two additional admissions of smoking marijuana that he stated he did not include in his background information. Barringer stated in 2011,, while he was in the Nethenands, he shared a marijuana ioint with a friend in a cafe where it was legal. Barringer aiso disciosed that in 2605 or 2606, he was with friends who were smoking marijuana through a hookah. Barringer stated he genuinely cannot remember if he actually smoked maniuana during that time or was inst present. - After the pre?test interview, reviewed ali the poiygraph test questions with Barringer. Barringer stated he understood the questions and was ready to take the test. During the poiygraph test, 1 coutd visually detect that Berringer showed a response across all three charts to the question, "Have you ever solicited or accepted a bribe?" After the test was complete, asked Barringer what he may have been thinking about when i asked him that question. Barringer stated he wasn?t reaity thinking about anything and than stated when he worked for Reagan Dunn. he was suspicious of some of the campaign contributors but wasn't thinking about that speci?cally during the test. Barringer stated that additional disclosures. i escorted Barringer cut of the polygraph suite and then carefully numerically scored the charts. The numerical score was consistent with a Significant Response for the bribe question. it is my opinion that this matter is currently unresoived.
