Dear High School Seniors:
The Miss Hanover Area Pageant has a long standing tradition in Hanover of providing local young women with
scholarships to further their education. Today, the pageant is a much anticipated and respected tradition that
highlights the talents and skills of the young women in our local community and offers them an opportunity to
win scholarships and awards to finance their post high school education. The Hanover Area Jaycees host this
event the Monday before their annual Halloween Parade each fall. The tentative date for the 2017 Miss
Hanover Area Pageant is Monday, October 23, 2017.
Miss Hanover Area Pageant winners will have the opportunity to be involved with the Hanover Community
throughout the 2017-2018 year. Activities will include, but are not limited to: The Hanover Area Jaycees’
Halloween Parade, the Hanover Area Jaycees’ Operation Jaycee Joy, and the Relay for Life of Hanover.
