As you are aware, the District has committed to stakeholders to amend Chapter 40E-61, F.A.C., to align
it with recent statutory changes and adopted BMAPS. Because you have expressed interest in this rule,
this email is to inform you that the Governing Board will be requested to authorize publication of the
Notice of Rule Development in the Florida Administrative Register at the December 11, 2014 public
meeting. If the rule development is authorized, public workshops will be held to solicit input to draft rule
language. Your input throughout the process is greatly appreciated.
