COMPLETE HISTORY OF THE CLAIMANT Mr. McGahey states he worked as a line operator at Simmons Chicken Plant for two months. According to the claimant, the injury occurred as his gloved left hand became caught in a machine and his hand was pulled into the machine. He states the supervisor stopped the line for him to remove his hand. After the accident, he states he was taken to the Grove General Hospital. He states he was examined and xerayed. He states that multiple fractures were noted. He states his hand was splinted and he was referred to a specialist. Several days later, he states he was sent to Dr. Brian Ogg, an orthopedic specialist in Grove. He states he was examined and was diagnosed with a possible lacerated tendon. PAST MEDICAL HISTORY: Mr. McGahey denies any prior injury to either hand. PREVIOUS SURGERIES: Appendix. DISABILITY RATINGS: None. ACTIVITY: Mr. McGahey states he has not worked since this injury. He states he is currently unable to work. II. COMPLAINTS OF THE CLAIMANT At the present time he has the following complaints: (1) He has constant pain in his left hand. 2) His left hand turns blue.
