Formosa Plastics Corporation, USA. is dedicated to protecting the environment in the communities
where our customers and employees work and live. This includes committing to our ?Zero Pellet
Loss? initiative.

Extra care is taken during the loading process at our facility in Point Comfort, Texas to minimize
and/or eliminate pellet loss. One way we do this is by ensuring that all railcar hatches, gates and
outlet caps are sealed, therefore eliminating pellet loss in transit.

We are asking for your assistance, too. Please take extra care to ensure that all hatches, gates, and
outlet caps are closed and sealed prior to releasing our railcars, loaded or empty, for return shipment
back to us.

By implementing some simple steps in the loading and unloading of pellets, we can both have a
positive impact on the environment in the communities where we work and live.
