Thabiso Ratsomo 

PERSONAL SUMMARY

Thabiso Ratsomo, a professional with extensive experience in the government and the
non-government sector. He possesses a deep understanding of the South African
political, social, legislative and economic situation from personal activism and through
academic studies.

Thabiso belongs to the 1976 generation of political activists and has as a result served
time as a political prisoner on Robben Island from 1978 to 1982. On his release from
prison he became a founding member and media committee of the Vaal Civic
Association (VCA). In 1985 he was charge with the VCA leaders in the Delmas Treason
Trail and acquitted on all charges in 1988.

He has operational experience in human resource management, financial
management, organisational development; policy development and management;
project management and analysis, and mentoring and coaching.

Thabiso is also an accomplished and published writer for a variety publication and
books
