All interviews were conducted by telephone including half by cell phone and half by landline. The margin of error for the survey is and is higher for specific subgroups shown below. When asked which would be better for the country, 60% of California voters said it would be better for the country if Donald Trump left office before the end of his term, while only 29% said the country would be better off if Trump finishes his term and runs for reelection. Another 7% volunteered that Trump should finish his term, but not run for reelection. 4% had no opinion on the question.
