Water and Waste Management hereby vacates and remands the Section 401 Water Quality Certi?cation issued
on March 23, 2017, relating to the applications ?led by Mountain Valley Pipeline, LLC (MVP) to construct a
natural gas pipeline in West Virginia. This decision will allow the agency to reevaluate the complete
application to determine whether the State?s certi?cation is in compliance with Section 401 of the federal

Clean Water Act
