An​ ​Act​ ​to​ ​Approve​ ​the​ ​Tempe​ ​Supreme​ ​Court​ ​Justice​ ​for​ ​the​ ​2017-2018​ ​Academic​ ​Year

The​ ​Undergraduate​ ​Student​ ​Government,​ ​Tempe​ ​Senate,
WHEREAS,​ ​the​ ​Senate​ ​holds​ ​the​ ​power​ ​to​ ​approve​ ​the​ ​President’s​ ​judicial​ ​appointments,​ ​in
accordance​ ​with​ ​Title​ ​III,​ ​Article​ ​I,​ ​Section​ ​4-C​ ​of​ ​the​ ​USG​ ​Constitution,
NOTING,​ ​President​ ​Benedict​ ​and​ ​Senate​ ​President​ ​Peoples​ ​have​ ​duly​ ​nominated​ ​Cristian​ ​Torres
and​ ​Nadira​ ​Khan​ ​for​ ​the​ ​Justice​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Supreme​ ​Court,
THEREFORE,​ ​the​ ​2017-2018​ ​Tempe​ ​Undergraduate​ ​Senate​ ​will​ ​confirm​ ​the​ ​appointment​ ​of
either​ ​Cristian​ ​Torres​ ​or​ ​Nadira​ ​Khan​ ​to​ ​the​ ​Supreme​ ​Court.
