Larry Crim (D) U.S. Senate 2012 li-Torfalti, the People Friends of Larry Crim P.0. Box Nashville, TN 3721-1 Website: rim SSen atecom Monday August 6, 2o12 Via Hand Delivery on August 6, 2012. Chip Forrester, Chair Tennessee Democratic Party 1900 Church Street Suite 203 Nashville, TN. 37203 Dear Mr. Forrester: The Tennessee Democratic Party has disavowcd association with. Mark Clayton who won the most votes August 2012 stating he does not represent the democratic party as he has only voted once as a democrat for himself, is an oflicer of a "known hate group", and only received the most votes due to his top position on the ballot. The Democratic Party has the duty to timely notify the Coordinator of Elections to not print the name of any candidate who is not a bono ijde democrat within (7) days following the qualifying deadline, which, as to Clayton, was not done and Clayton's name was permitted to appear on the democratic primary ballot August 2 2012. According to the public position of the Tennessee Democratic Party that Clayton won solely due to "top of ballot positioning", had the democratic party timely performed its duties and Clayton's name not been listed on the ballot, the name of Larry would have been at the top of the ballot and elected as the democratic nominee for United States Senate on August 2 2012 . Although "top of ballot positioning" would have obviously solidified our nomination, the Crim Democrat U.S. Senate Campaign won the most votes over all other democratic candidates except for Clayton in Memphis, Shelby County and Nashville Davidson County where we focused our efforts. As the Tennessee Democratic Party has disavowed Clayton as not representative of the democratic party, then, admittedly, the voters have not had the right to choose amongst bona fide democratic candidates and the legitimate democratic candidates have not had the right to compete for votes in a properly conducted democratic primary for United States Senate. Accordingly, it is my request that the Tennessee Democratic Party issue a demand of the Tennessee Coordinator of Elections dated not later than Tuesday August 7, 2012 that, since the party has determined that Clayton is not a democrat and has known improper associations, that: (1) The name "Mark Clayton" not be printed on the November ballot; (2) A new democratic primary be held in which Clayton's name is not listed, yet including the name of our candidacy and the other qualified democratic candidates; (3) Conduct a new democratic primary election f' Unless we receive a response by tomorrow, Tuesday August 7, 2012 by 3: oo pan. that the party has issued such demands to the above referenced officials with a carbon copy of the demand, delivered to the following email address - with cc. to larocrim@aol.com then I will assume that you have declined to perform this known duty and will take appropriate actions to protect our rights as a federal candidate and the rights ofTe11nesseans. Sincer WU Larry Crim, Demo rat United States Senate 2012 the People of Tennessee
