The Preferred Alternative is Alternative 4
which is comprised of three elements:
• targeted dredging to remove metals from
areas saturated with metallic anomalies
• diver verification and inspection to ensure
removal of DMM-HE from dredged areas
• diver investigation and removal from areas
where discrete anomalies can be
identified.
Alternative 4 is estimated to take 3 years to
design and implement

treatment and meets the Remedial Action
