Subject: RE: Submission of revised rates in OK I received a call from _at a couple minutes ago. She indicated that their leadership had met and agreed to submit revised rates on Monday, upon our waiver approval. She confirmed that this was possible from an HCSC operational standpoint as well. She said HCSC staff were also sharing this update with ?todav. Thanks much for your continued work on this. From?[m? Sent: Monday, September 18, 2017 4:50 PM - Subject: Su mission 0 revise rates in OK Hello-and Colleagues, As you know, CMS has been working closely with the Oklahoma DHHS and DOI on the state?s application for a section 1332 waiver that would establish a reinsurance program in the state. We?re working toward approval of the state?s application on a timeline that would allow plan year 2018 rates Page 1 of2 to re?ect the proposed reinsurance program. An important part of meeting this timeline would be prompt submission of revised rates for plans should the waiver be approved. Can you con?rm that, should the waiver application be approved as late as Sept 24 or 25, BCBS-OK would be ready to submit a revised rates template by 6:00 pm Eastern on September 25, 2017? My understanding is that HCSC has expressed its willingness, in principle, to make such a submission?l wanted to check in from an operational feasibility perspective to con?rm that such a submission could be accomplished. Thank you for your response and please let me know if you would like to discuss further. Best, Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services US.
