support​ ​new​ ​leaders​ ​to​ ​the​ ​Texas​ ​House.​ ​ ​We​ ​are​ ​intent​ ​on​ ​removing​ ​the​ ​old​ ​leaders​ ​responsible​ ​for
scuttling​ ​half​ ​of​ ​Governor​ ​Greg​ ​Abbott’s​ ​commonsense​ ​agenda​ ​for​ ​the​ ​special​ ​session​ ​of​ ​the​ ​85th
Legislature.
Since​ ​then,​ ​Speaker​ ​Joe​ ​Straus​ ​(R-San​ ​Antonio)​ ​and​ ​his​ ​top​ ​lieutenant,​ ​Rep.​ ​Byron​ ​Cook​ ​(R-Corsicana)
have​ ​announced​ ​that​ ​they​ ​will​ ​not​ ​run​ ​for​ ​reelection.

same​ ​old​ ​corrupt​ ​culture​ ​will​ ​prevail​ ​at​ ​the​ ​behest​ ​of​ ​special​ ​interest​ ​masters​ ​at​ ​the​ ​expense​ ​of​ ​ordinary

commitments​ ​starting​ ​at​ ​$100,000​ ​to​ ​qualified​ ​challengers​ ​of​ ​Straus’​ ​remaining​ ​core​ ​acolytes.
