On Sunday, September 24, 2017, at approximately 11:05 PM, Mr. TSEGAYE GEBREHIWOT was 
assaulted during the course of a robbery in the 5100 block of 2nd Street NW. On November 13, 2017, 
Mr. GEBREHIWOT succumbed to injuries suffered during the robbery.  The Metropolitan Police 
Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information about this homicide.
