Homicide: 5200 Block of Just Street, Northeast
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch
are investigating a Homicide offense which occurred in the 5200 block of Just Street, Northeast,
on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
At approximately 6:50 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the
report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female, unconscious and
unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS transported the victim
to an area hospital, where all life-saving efforts failed and the victim was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 25 year-old Danjellicca Ball, of Hyattsville, MD.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that
provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons
responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information
