having personal knowledge of the events as stated below, and if sworn as
a witness can testify competently; do hereby state the following. under oath and based upon my
information, knowledge, and belief as it was available to me at the time of the execution of this
documentwas ?rst employed ?for Rep. John Conyers 

 
 
   

saw Rep. Conyers at another function and enquired
about the position. In response, the Congressman invited me to accompany him to a
luncheon the following week at an event sponsored by CityYear in downtown


I attended the luncheon with Rep. Conyers, and while the two of us were alone, I
asked him about the status of my application for the position.

Without saying a word, Rep. Conyers reached down and grabbed my hand and began
to caress it and rub my palm his ?ngers against my palm is a sexually suggestive
manner

Regrettably, I did not stop him and when he was ?nished, he told me that I would be
contacted by his staff regarding the position.

A few days later I was contacted by his Chief of Staff and offered a-position
with the Congressman?s of?ce.

I began working -for the Congressman

During this time I experienced other instances where Rep. Conyers made sexual
advances towards me.

One such time was when I was driving the Congressman in my personal car and was
resting my hand on the stick shift. Rep. Conyers reached over and began to caress my
hand in a sexual manner.

I told the Congressman that I was not Interested in any sexual With him
and he eventually withdrew his hand.

and I spoke several times about the Congressman?s inappropriate sexual
advances and she stated that Rep. Conyers made several sexual advances towards her

These advances included inStances on several business trips she took with him where

business, but then ask her for sexual favors in exchange for advancement of her
career.

In addition, one of my duties while working for Rep Conyers was to keep a list of
women that I assumed. he was having affairs with and call Them at his request and, if

I am personally aware of several other women who have experienced the same or
similar sexual advances made towards them by Rep. John Conyers.

I was told many times by constituents in the community that it was well known that
Rep. John Conyers had sexual relations with the female members of his staff.

and the other female staffers or rub our backs while we attended public events.

18. It was my, and other female staffers, belief that this undermined our credibility as it
indicated that the only reason we were in our position with the Congressman was
because we were en a ed in an intimate sexual relationshi .

 
 
   

 

20. served as an intern with the Congressman for approximately six months -

before hired on art-time after I was hired.

22. It was widely known by the staff that that was having an affair with Rep. 
Conyers.

23. Once she was appointed? she began trying to remove the female
staffers who the Congressman had made sexual advances towards. This included

Congressman wanted to let me go.
25. After this meeting, I went to the Congressman and asked if this was true. He stated
not to worry and iroceeded to boast about my achievements in international relations

so and would leave me alone.

26. However. two davs after I. received a. call. from a
fellow staffer that she had been ?red and that they were letting ?all of us go.?

27. As a result, I was offered a two month severance. After demanding 6 months, I was

given a 6-month severance ackage and my employment with the Congressman was
terminated in?.
