AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT

I, having personal knowledge of the events as stated below, and if

sworn as witness can testify competently; do hereby state the following under oath and based
upon my information, knowledge, and belief as it was available to me at the time of the
execution of this document.

1) was employed by the US House of Representatives from early until

parted ways with the Congressional

office?
2) During this time mviob duties included?

 

 



 

4) During this period,_ approached me in regarding allegations of
inappropriate conduct directed at her by Rep. Conyers.

5) According to - this conduct included inappropriate touching as well as request
for sexual favors.

6) I personally witnessed Rep. John Conyers touch and rub on - legs and other
parts of her body in what appeared to be a sexual manner. In addition, I witnessed Rep.

John Conyers rub the legs of other women and touch them in an inappropriate manner.
7) As a result of _al egations and with confirmation the inappropriate touching
of- was unwanted and sexually based, I approached the Congressman and
expressed my concerns about his behavior.
8) Rep. Conyers said he needed to be ?more careful? because bad publicity would not be

  

helpful as he runs for re-election. He ended the conversation with me by stating he
would ?work on? his behavior toward
9) In November- Rep. Conyers expressed that

was too old and that he wanted meeting in late December .for the -staff including?
to show Rep. Conyers how productive the-office- was. -

-was a top? staff member for the Congressman.
11) counseled Rep. Conyers about mistreatment of staff and his misuse of federal

     

resources in a long meeting in late December -. There were two witnesses present.

Rep. Conyers agreed that he would work on making improvements as long as I worked
directly with him and stopped writing memos and emails about concerns.

12) Rep. Conyers also responded to my efforts to correct behavior by publicly complaining
to others that he wished I would stop putting things in writing. He would complain to
others, .needs to stop the emails, please no more emails.? He would say to me,
?You can reach me anytime, no need to email.?
