He advised DAVIS that the paycf! chculd be made on that date, however, DAVIS refused to accede tc instructions and hung up on the cal11ng individual. When DAVIS told this individual that he was firm in hi? positian that he vauld amt meet thair demands, the man cancluded the canversation by gaging, "We'll be in tuuch with you araund the first ?f September.? DAVIS in?icated that to his recallectian all of the calls hava been reneived sometime between 10:30 AH and 12:66 naan, and he has the'firn inpressiun that many, if 30$ all, of the: were fram nut of state.
