August 28, 2017 – Organic Nutrition, Inc. announced today that the Company has closed on its first USDA guaranteed loan through Central Bank of Florida for $5,000,000. The USDA loan couples with an initial round of Series A equity funding for $1,483,982. Proceeds will be used to commence construction of Phase 1 of its Boynton Beach, FL. facilities. An initial site plan was approved by Palm Beach County. Ernest Papadoyianis, CEO, stated, “Our team has invested a significant amount of time in the development of our integrated agriculture model. We believe the timing of our entry into the marketplace is ideal, based upon the enormous demand for healthy, locally grown, all-natural foods.” Management intends to break ground in September on construction of 100,000 square feet of greenhouses and deployment of the Aqua-Sphere fish production systems. The complete site build out will incorporate over 500,000 square feet of hydroponic greenhouses and seven AquaSphere production systems, capable of producing over 350,000 lbs of the Company’s Everglades Striped Bass™. Organic Nutrition previously operated a research center in Boynton Beach, FL where we tested and modified a variety of hydroponic systems and methods for growing over 100 varieties of produce.
