inave been offered an opportunity to complete a at the University ofoxfurd in England. The
requirement for (he first year afthe program is to be a full-time student on campus. As a result, on
January 3, 2017, I retired as the Ramsey county Sheriff and will need to remain at Oxford through June
2017. Consequently, our home at- Payne Avenue is vacant.

Upon my retirement, the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners named Jack Serierto succeed me as
Sheriff. Jack is seeking a permanent home in Ramsey County; however, he has yet to find one. Cheryl
and i are wondering ifthe Erownstones on Swede Hollow Homeowner's Association would permit us to
rent our home to the new Sheriff until we return this summer?
