Date: January 16, 2018 Subject: Landslide Monitoring Columbia AK Anderson Quarry Parker, Washington 2642 This memo is a status update to prior memos released in December 2017 and January 2018. Landslide Monitoring Columbia’s monitoring of the landslide is based on reconnaissance, manual GPS RTK survey data, Leica total station laser survey data, and drone aerial photography. In addition to these methods, landslide risks are also tracked with site patrols and 24/7 video cameras providing images of the quarry pit and Thorp Road. Manual GPS As of January 15, new manual GPS data has not been collected. The most recent GPS data was obtained on January 10, 2018. A map showing calculated velocity vectors for the rebar hubs and the temporary hubs north of the quarry is provided as Figure 1. Informational background on the hubs is provided in a December 15, 2017 memo. Leica Laser Total Station Total Station laser and data presentation using the Leica web tool “Leica GeoMoS Now!” is in development, and is available to select team members. Raw data files are manually downloaded and available. Testing of automatically produced Leica reports is also in development, an example of a “test” report is provided in Appendix A, as listed below.
