Dear Representative Seitz:
This letter serves to acknowledge that I have received your letter of apology.

I am disheartened by the careless and insensitive remarks you made at the Athletic Club of
Columbus on Tuesday night. As you have correctly stated, your remarks were irresponsible and
not appropriate as a representative and, more importantly, as a member of my leadership team.

Going forward, I expect your actions to be more thoughtful and your behavior more respectful to
others. As an elected leader of this chamber, it is your responsibility to set an example that others
can follow and not to be the cause of disruption.

I am directing you to contact and personally apologize to Representative Keller and former
Representative Fessler. Additionally, I Will require you to address this matter to members in
person.
