Single Family Whole Home (Temporary) 1. Single family whole home (Temporary) short term rentals in residential neighborhoods are limited to two (2) per block face for non-renewals (New Licenses Only). 2. A hard cap limit of 5,000 permits to be issued city wide for single family whole home (Temporary) short term rentals. 3. The number of days to be raised from 90 to 180 for Temporary Permit, and/or Proposed In-State Residency Requirement for “Privilege and Exclusion” issuance of secondary 90 day permit. 4. The operator will be required to show proof of participation in the Project NOLA camera system initiative at the operator’s cost. 5. The permit cost is doubled to $500.00 per year. Accessory Short-Term Rentals: Where a valid Homestead Exemption is in place on the property as determined by the Orleans Parish Assessor. 1. Revision to allow permit on multi-unit properties of 2, 3, and 4 units. 2. The operator will be required to participate in the Project NOLA camera system initiative at the operator’s cost. 3. The permit cost is doubled to $250.00 per year. Commercial: 1. Expansion of VCE to include VCE-1 Corridor. 2. Condominiums buildings. Multi-unit condominiums are not limited to Day Count provisions, are granted Privilege to apply for commercial permits, subject to the approval in bylaws of each condominium associations. 3. The permit cost is doubled to $1000.00 per year. All Short-Term Rentals: 1. The nightly NHIF fee of $1.00 will be raised to $2.00 and clear NHIF allocation remains intact. 2. French Quarter Residential to be granted inclusion in the proposed revisions, subject to their property/residency classification. 3.
