Re. Reply to your letter of December 11, 2017 regarding SSA 73
Dear Alderman Solis,
Thank you for your kind response expressing concern and sensitivity to the unfortunate predicament
facing Chinatown Square, however, you did not respond to the main point of our letter dated November
24​th​.
In the letter, (copy enclosed) we asked you to confirm and verify a statement you had made at the recent
Finance Committee hearing on November 16​th​, to Pat Jan (and heard by many) in which you publicly
stated that Chinatown Square would not be included in SSA 73.
Accordingly, please clarify, so Chinatown Square Association can plan their future budget which includes
paying for many thousands of dollars in legal fees expended to resolve the tax sale situation.
