Programs. Kindly, Housing is one of the major challenges faced in resettling refugees by all agencies. As you know the low inventory of affordable housing in San Diego has been a challenge for refugees and other residents for a long time. Affordable housing continues to he a challenge for all Americans. As you may note, in 2015, we received compliant rating on the monitoring report. But as with all findings from monitoring reports, we responded and acted upan those recommendations as appropriate. with the mas investigation, the corrective action included the requirement to include leases in the case file documentation and for staff to ensure that all clients are included on the lease. We reinforced our housing standard guidance with all smfi'. Our headquarters has also hired a Housing Coordinator to assist the greaternetwork in housing challenges and has just recently provided a Home Reference tool to help in our orientation of clients. There is no program requirement that we have a lease on file, ch took an extra step and we now reaoire that everyone has a lease in a casefile. llmarl gaogle en --25me org ilz 2/22/2018 San Diego State University Mail - RE: June 2016 monitoring report, response From: Tarryn Mento [mailto:tmento@kpbs.org] Sent: Friday, February 16, 2018 1:46 PM [Quoted text hidden] [Quoted text hidden] https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2&ik=b196120b9e&jsver=iEEFj798MIw.en.&view=pt&msg=161a0385c27d53f8&q=Charlie.Ozuturk%40rescue.org… 2/2
