“When we first learned of the allegations, we immediately suspended Brandon 
McElveen, and we fired him as soon as we learned the police investigation found 
evidence that he mistreated children. We continue to be outraged by the allegations 
which, if proven true, are inexcusable. We stand together with our families and the 
community in demanding that justice be served against Mr. McElveen. We continue to 
work closely with investigators and the District Attorney’s Office, and we encourage any 
family with information about abuse to contact the Houston Police Department.”
