PrincipalsDean Kirkpatrick Jay Kopas Brittany Behrens At BCHS, our top priority is providing a safe and secure learning environment where all students can grow academically and socially. We respect and support the right of our students to advocate for causes that are important to them and welcome the opportunity to work with any student or student group to discuss appropriate and creative ways to do so while at school that honors diversity in beliefs. We have worked with student leaders to develop a plan to promote safety, security, and clear expectations. Should students choose to partake, they are responsible for any missed work in their classes and must return to class immediately following the 17 minutes. Students are required to remain within the gates of BCHS in the center of campus. Support for supervision, safety, and security will be provided through BCHS administration, security, and MCSO. I encourage you to talk with your student about how they feel and share the importance of expressing themselves in appropriate, safe ways at school. It’s important to know that disorderly conduct or leaving campus is not acceptable and will be handled compassionately but firmly in accordance with the Student Rights & Responsibility Handbook. March 14th is a school day focused on learning and growth for all of our students at BCHS. We are grateful for your continued support of Boulder Creek High School. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns at 623-445-8600. I wish you a wonderful evening. Sincerely, Teacher on Administrative AssignmentRyan Pletnick Brittany M.
