describing concerns with representations provided to the Senate Judiciary Committee by
Attorney General Sessions. You reiterated your concerns in a letter to Acting Director McCabe

in a letter dated May 12, 2017.

Consistent with longstanding policy, we cannot confirm or deny the existence of an
investigation. This also precludes us from providing a briefing in response to your inquiries.
