(CPE) Subject: EPA Listening Session Good morning, As you are probably already aware, the EPA recently = announced a series of listening sessions on its proposal to repeal the Clea= n Power Plan. One of the sessions will be held in Gille@e on Tuesday, Marc= h 27 at the Gille@e College Tech Center, from 9 AM – 8 PM. As you know, Wyoming is the largest coal producing s= tate in the country, and many economists have predicted between a 25 and 50= percent hit to coal producDon in the state if the Clean Power Plan was im= plemented as wri@en. That doesn’t even begin to describe the impact it would have on our economy, with coal = providing over $1 billion to Wyoming through taxes, royalDes and fees̵ = 2;impacDng every single person and business in this state. Beginning as early as t= his week, we are expecDng the EPA to launch an online pre-registraDon sign-u= p to speak at the listening session here. We encourage you, and your colleagues, friends and family, to sta= nd up and let your voice be heard; help President Trump and the EPA repeal = the rule in order to keep exisDng coal-fueled power plants open. We are asking that anyone and everyone join us, a= nd speak up and sign-up. We all know how much this impacts our organizaCon= s, businesses and communiCes. Please let me know if you have any quesCons= . Be sure to keep your eye out for more informaDon; w= e anDcipate an abundance of traffic once the website launches, however I w= ill do my best to give you all as much noDce as possible. As the date appr= oaches, I will be sure to send out some key messages that will help you communicate your messages. We are als= o working with the Wyoming Mining AssociaDon on a pre-event Coffee and Con= versaDon, and will keep you posted as the details are confirmed. Thank you for your past a@endance, efforts and inte= rest in these listening sessions—we realize the Dme and energy that = this takes, and want you to know that it really does make a difference.
